Welcome to AGAPE Ministries
Agape Ministries is an inter-denominational organization started by Pastor Venu Gopal.. It was started in the year 2008 with a God given vision and strategy to reach the unreached people of India. God saved Venu Gopal out of Hinduism and idol worship and called him to preach the good news of Jesus Christ at very young age. Pastor Venu Gopal, Founder - President of the organization had studied in reputed Bible Collages and Seminaries in India and Abroad and earned degrees. He pioneered Churches. And he also worked in different organizations in different positions. He has over 15 years of ministerial experience with a heart burning for the lost and poor.
God gave him the burden to start Agape Ministries in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. God has been using him to advance the Kingdom of God. He conducts Gospel Meetings, planting churches, training young people for the ministry, raises orphaned and poor children, and caring(helping) for the elderly widows and destitute.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this : to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world" _ James 1:27
We were able start our work between the tribal and interior villages, since 2009. We planted worshipping groups in different villages. We gave the glory to God for His enabling strength to us to carry the gospel to the unreached.
Sponsor a Child
Your little gesture will give life to a child in India. $40 per month would be sufficient for a child’s welfare. Please forward us your choice at Email. and we would be happy to send you the profile.
We don't know how God's going to use our time with the children to impact their lives, we just know He does. Just being faithful to a child's desire to connect with you or one child responding to the love given them in a single day all works to show them the face and the touch of Jesus, at least this is always our prayer and desire. As we drove out of the children, the little ones chasing the van, waving and calling out (goodbye), we were blessed to have been a part of sowing the seed of God's sweet love into the lives of these precious, forgotten children.
